Event Defender
Event Defender is a mobile vehicle barrier that effectively secures access to events of all kinds against accidental or planned vehicle intrusion. Event Defender consists of individual modules that connect to form a barrier. The additionally installed posts act as approach bollards. In the event of a collision, the protruding stop spikes penetrate the vehicle from below and stop it effectively.
Event Defender is always active and is designed to stop 12-tonne vehicles traveling at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour. No anchoring required. In addition to its protective function, the vehicle barrier offers optimal escape options and is safe to use at all times. It also provides barrier-free access for pedestrians, children, cyclists and wheelchair users, buggies and pushchairs.
Event Defender has an intelligent locking system which ensures it can be opened within seconds to admit rescue and emergency vehicles.
